WARNING: this track has been stolen from the studio...
Oh well...
T.I. feat. Young Jeezy - "Pop it Off"
I can't stop the leakage...
Bonus: T-Mo Goodie feat. T.I. - "Connect like Dots" (this track is pretty wack if you ask me...but you didn't)
Aight? Peace.

It's always good to hear some Pimp C, right?
Even if you gotta hear it via a new Nelly track...
Nelly feat. Pimp C and Sean P (the one from Youngbloodz...not BCC) - "Cut it Out"
Edit: this track actually surfaced sometime last summer...surfaced as in it was around...but it never caught on. Oh well...if I ain't heard it, it's new to me.

Lettuce Ketchup Pt. 2
It's no secret that Hip-Hop has supported Obama...Kidz in the Hall even recorded a theme song for the man. Now, they've got the remix, featuring Talib Kweli and Bun B. And that ain't all folks...this track will appear on an Obama MIXTAPE that's being put together by DJ Green Lantern and Russell Simmons. It's true....Obama is Hip-Hop. Oh yeah, this "Message to Obama" from Joell Ortiz is probably gonna make an appearance on that mixtape too...Gotta love Hip-Hop...
Beanie Sigel is going to jail for 3 months...sucks to be him. But, at least he's not facing 25 years like somebody else we know....
Yep, on the same day T.I. got off realllllll easy with his plea deal, Remy Ma was convicted and found guilty on 4 charges stemming from a shooting last year and is facing up to 25 years in prison (money and fame can do wonders for you...Remy should've waited to have a few platinum plaques under her belt before popping somebody). And that's not even the craziest part...although he previously denied their engagement, Papoose came forward after the conviction and said him and Remy still plan on exchanging vows...while she's behind bars! I'm about to start calling him "PSP"...Publicity Stunt Pap. Seems like all he does nowadays anyway...you know, since he doesn't have a deal anymore...
New G-Unit song....do you care? Supposed to be off their upcoming album...seriously, do you care? I mean...really...
Oh yeah...the LA Times thing on Puffy is false or something. I'm still not touching that one...at all.
There's a couple versions of Lil' Wayne's "Milli" floating around...one with just Wayne and one with Corey Gunz. Why the different versions? Is there an LL/Canibus c. '98 situation going on here? Don't really care 'cause I'm not really feeling this song...Corey Gunz did kinda outshine Weezy a lil'...
Oh yeah...new Wayne mixtape...woo-hoo...
New Styles P track...I wish it was on Super Gangster, Extraordinary Gentleman...
Last, but certainly not least, a new Kanye West video..."Homecoming" feat. Chris Martin...everybody should make black-and-white videos from now on. Kinda reminds me of the Consequence video for "The Good, the bad, the ugly"...but whatever...
I know the underground heads may have been disappointed by this post...I'm only one man tho! And I got other things I gotta do...But I'll tell ya what...here's some Atmosphere. Enjoy.
Aight? Peace.

OK, so you were disappointed by "Birthday Girl"
Which I honestly didn't believe was all that bad of a song, and was certainly a no-brainer for a first single. But, have no fear, that track will NOT be appearing on The Roots highly-aniticapated upcoming album, Rising Down. At least, not on the U.S. version. It's still gonna be available on the international releases, as well as be offered as an iTunes exclusive bonus track. Questlove said this was an artistic decision, and not based on the reaction from their "diehard" fans or critics. If you can't trust Questo, who can ya trust?
So, what's the new single gonna be? Apparently, it's this lil' gem that leaked earlier today...
The Roots feat. Wale and Chrisette Michele - "Rising Up"
I'm declaring April 29, 2008 a holiday. Seriously...
Aight? Peace.

T.I. to plead guilty
If you've checked any news sites this morning, then you probably already heard this...but T.I. is expected to enter a guilty plea to the weapons charges he caught late last year. Unfortunate, right? Nah homie...check the deal this dude is expected to get...
From Allhiphop:
The Geto Boys once recorded a song called "Damn it feels good to be a gangsta." T.I. should do a remix called "Damn it feels good to be a rapper" 'cause that nigga got off easy as fuck! Remember back when this story broke, they were talking about a mandatory 10 years on the silencers alone...now it's 12 months (which he probably won't serve the whole thing) and 1500 hours (or 62 1/2 days) of talking to kids???
Whoever brokered this deal will become he new go-to lawyer for all the rappers that can't keep themselves out of trouble. Here's looking at you, Prodigy...
I don't know whether I'm supposed to congratulate Tip or not, but I wish him all the best...
But please, no more weapons purchases for your small army...stick to the beats and rhymes homie!
Aight? Peace.
